World Superbike 2010

With 7 British riders in this years Championship plus a couple of MotoGP riders re-joining the series, 2010 looks set to be better than ever! BMW and Aprilia, joined the Championship in 2009 and with ever improving race results they should both add to the excitement.

Brno race results.

Not a good weekend for Haslam, Rea overtakes Checa in the standings, Biaggi opens out championship lead with another win, Toseland moves into the number 6 slot.

Race 1: Rea carved out a great victory after passing Biaggi - who had got the holeshot - followed by Crutchlow. Xaus and Biaggi fought as Rea and Crutchlow battled for the lead with Rea imposing his lead. In the end Biaggi took Crutchlow for second place, 2.5 secs behind Rea. James Toseland who was suffering from a chest infection came seventh. Max Biaggi: "We came here on Friday and we didn't really have the same feeling as I had last year so we tried to set up the bike as close as last year's machine. Basically we improved, but my feeling was not great. Unfortunately this weekend has been like this, but we will make some modifications for race 2 and hopefully there will be some surprises."

Race 2: Biaggi found his form and was strong off the line passing Rea early - who made a great start but came in second 4.5 secs behind Biaggi who claimed his 10th win at Brno and his 9th win of the season. Crutchlow was out with a tyre issue, but when he re-entered the race, he put down a new race lap record of 1'59.291. This from Rea: "Max did an unbelievable pace, I know how hard it was to hold on to second and he was going away from us, but anyway it's been a good weekend with a 1-2 today. Thanks for all my team for digging deep this weekend and giving me a package that I could race with."

Biaggi leads with 352 points, Haslam 284, Rea 203, Checa 189, Haga 172. James Toseland is in 6th with 160.

The next round is Silverstone where no one gets you closer to the action than Big Rock. Exclusive - Meet James Toseland at your hotel.

2 times World Champion James Toseland will be trying to regain the title and Big Rock will be continuing their longstanding relationship with the talented Brit.  This season he will be battleing it out in what we consider to be the most exciting championship.

In a 2009 season that saw MotoGP struggle to show exciting races at all but a few rounds the Superbike boys produced some of the best racing ever. If it’s elbow-to-elbow action you want with full grids, un-rivalled access and something happening on track all through the day then you really must visit World Superbikes this season.

IN OUR OPINION THE BEST LIVE RACING EXPERIENCE YOU CAN GET!!

Imola 2009

Big Rock has been offering the most comprehensive range of options to this Championship since 1996.  In our opinion this series offers the very best for the race fan with far more access than is possible in motogp and a much fuller racing schedule.

Add to this a revitalised series which now boasts some of the World’s top rides on increasingly more competitive machinery - which considering the weight and technology disadvantage are extremely close in lap times to motogp bikes - we feel this series is back on the up and will give you the very best from a racing holiday.

Big Rock has been at the very heart of WSB since the company’s early days and ran the official hospitality for the Championship in 2003.

We have successfully run the official WSB after-race-party at Brands Hatch for three years which is attended by all the teams and riders and is also open to Big Rock Clients.  We are well known in the Paddock and even arrange accommodation for the likes of Troy Corser, Yukio Kagayama and Frankie Chili.

If you want to visit a World Superbike event there is no one who can get you closer to the heart of the series.
