Fly from London to New York and transfer on arrival to your downtown Manhattan hotel where you stay for two nights.
Thursday 19 August
Free in New York for shopping, sightseeing and sampling the many great bars and restaurants.
It has been known to rain on our holidays! This is the tail end of a Hurricane! We were bone dry and riding in the sun within an hour of this photo....honest! :-)
Friday 20 August
We leave New York after breakfast by coach for Washington to collect your Harley - you have the choice of most of the range – before a rideout and return to the Capital for an overnight stay in the heart of the city.
Saturday 21 August
From Washington we head out into the Blue Ridge Mountains. From here your luggage will be carried in the support vehicle.
Joining Skyline Drive at the northern entrance to the Shenandoah National Park you get your first taste of this great wilderness. Your route will take you along the spine of the Blue Ridge Mountains and then joins the Blue Ridge Parkway. Along the route there are pull-ins where you can stop and enjoy the magnificent scenery and perhaps take a closer look at the wildlife! Your overnight stop this evening is right on the edge of the parkway near the town of Bedford.
