2010 race report:
70,123 GP fans crowded into Silverstone circuit on race day to watch a spectacular race in spite of the sparse grid with the absence o fRossi and many riders having fallen in practice and qualifying; De Puniet, Spies, Pedrosa all had pre-race offs with Pedrosa sustaining injuries.
The anticipation for this race had been huge, in spite of Rossi's abence and Silverstone did not disappoint: six riders battled for second and third all race long, a solid text-book performance from Lorenzo and Dovizioso, Stoner making it from last to fifth, and Spies on the podium.
The result puts Lorenzo in a very clear lead with 115, Dovizioso 78, Pedrosa 73, Rossi 61, Hayden 52. Stoner's result maintains him at eighth, but Spies points boost him 3 spots to seventh.

Pit Suite Hospitality
In the centre of the circuit overlooking the pit lane and the start/finish straight, your hospitality suite is in a unique location on the circuit. You will be welcomed each day by the friendly staff who are available throughout to ensure your every comfort.
A basic package to include coffee, tea, biscuits and soft drinks all day is available for practice day on Friday. On Saturday and Sunday you will enjoy an open bar of tea, coffee, soft drinks, beers and wines and there is a choice of bacon, sausage or egg rolls for breakfast. A delicious 2 course buffet luncheon will be served each day and to ensure you won’t be hungry in the afternoon there’s a tempting afternoon tea of sandwiches and cakes.
Circuit parking, entrance ticket with centre transfer and race programme are included too. Inside the suite there are private wc’s, closed circuit TV monitors and viewing is from the tiered terrace.
