With its unrivalled history and location only a couple of hours from the channel ports, Le Mans has to be one of the best introductions to European racing.
Privilege stand
By far the best way to attend this event is to take your own car or
bike using one of the channel crossings. The closest major airport
is Paris, two to three hours from the track and hotels so, if you
prefer to fly, a hire car will be required.
The race at the legendary Sarthe circuit is always one of the most popular on the
calendar. It is easy to get to and the brand new circuit facilities, ample parking and
camping areas means there is a real party atmosphere going on. Le Mans town is no
distance and whenever there is a big event at the track everyone gets involved – the
locals love it!
2010 Race Highlights
A Yamaha double and another bizarre Lorenzo celebration at a crash-ridden Le Mans.
An injured shoulder didn't hold Rossi back from making pole and a blistering start at Le Mans but he couldn't hold onto the lead. Lorenzo took Pedrosa early to hound Rossi until he found a weakness with 17 laps to go, then went on to produce a clear lead.
Hayden - having overtaken Stoner in the last race - had a clear shot at the front runners when the ill-fated Aussie lost the Ducati unexpectedly, blaming reliability issues. At this stage of the season, this has had a terrible on Stoner's championship hopes, now down to 13th.
Dovizioso piled the pressure on a fading Pedrosa late in the race taking him for 3rd, with Hayden positioned to take advantage of Pedrosa running wide to take 4th with just a few bends to go.
Spies - who had highsided in practice - went down following Capirossi's crash. While the ex-250 boys laid into each other in another all-race, four-way brawl, this time with Edwards stuck in the middle of the mayhem!

Although Big Rock are able provide tickets to all grandstands, after many years experience, we recommend the following which we consider to provide the very best in viewing. However, if you have a preferred grandstand, Big Rock is happy to provide these tickets for you subject to availability.
General Admission Only (3-day)
3-Day circuit entrance plus roaming grandstand seat. Although this ticket does give you access to all of the public grandstands at Le Mans, in our experience it is almost impossible to get in to these stands as they are always full.
